Ordered a matcha latte and petite French toast and sat for a while in the sun. Good vibes, lots of people working with their computer. Total bill was $14
It's overwhelming to even think or consider coming here with a dog or stroller .. it happens and in the winter it gets overwhelmingly jammed like an l train that is going express to union square at 8:45. It is understandable due to the array of fresh pastries coming out of the oven. The people are very hard working and just norms determined to grab their bevies and baked goods . I think there are other places that are excellent in area in case you aren't interested in being in tight spaces with strangers in silence ..: there is black brick, jane, cafe canary , la bicyclette bakery (which is insane) !!
GET THE BFAST SANDWICH! Fluffy bread, creamy egg, crunchy bacon, fresh avo.... I want to buy another just describing it. My wife got the oatmeal and it was also good. It had a thick creamy texture. My favorite part is when you bite into the oatmeal and you feel oat smush between your teeth. Either is a great option. Coffee though... was mid. I tried the Tumeric and my wife tried a latte but it didn't have that wow effect. The food and pastries is whats good here. Service is cool (they can get busy but they'll get to you quick; be patient). Ambiance is chill too. Nice spot to grab a pastry/coffee and read, work on something or just sit outside and enjoy the views.
Butler is a charming, busy cafe with a great atmosphere. I enjoyed a delicious chai latte with pistachio milk and their tasty petit French toast. The pastry selection looks amazing, and the ambiance is perfect for a coffee break. Highly recommend!
I really enjoy Butler. I will say, everything is a bit pricey. Now, the food is great. My egg sandwich was brilliant. It's a good sandwich -- love a drippy egg. They also have great pastries. The staff behind the counter are kind. It's a lovely cafe. Just a bit pricey.
The service was incredible here! They were very attentive to details and the display was done very beautifully. The overall ambiance of the store was beautiful, definitely a place to go and study if you need. I got an iced latte with their vanilla syrup, which if you have a sweet tooth, so so good! The everything cruffin is something out of a dream. Overall was around $12 dollars for both, but for city prices, this is very good! Will go again!
Love this cafe!! Great place to get work done with a great cup of coffee and some delicious snack options. I have tried the sticky date muffin and the triple chocolate crossaint and they're both pretty good. Their cortado is one of my favs in Williamsburg! - @nyconthetable
I come here often when I'm in Williamsburg. I love getting oat milk lattes here. And I want to note that the coffee here is very tasty. And the berry muffin definitely demands your attention.
